CROMWELL 1849

  The 707 ton barque CROMWELL (136' x 29' x 21') was built
by Philip Laing of Southwick, Sunderland for Duncan Dunbar of London
(maiden voyage was to Australia with convicts).
Captain J.M. Bance sailed from London 30th March and
from Plymouth April 11th, arriving in Adelaide on July 19, 1849.
