SAN FRANCISCO   1850
of the Johann Cesar Godeffroy line was built in 1846 in Bjorneborg, and as the British HUGO was purchased on March 13, 1850 from Sieveking, London, and was renamed SAN FRANCISCO.

This was her first voyage with the Godeffroy line.
She left Hamburg 23 - 06 1850 - Captain C.S. Kramer, arrived Port Adelaide on 14-10-1850

After leaving Adelaide she may have visited the west coast of America before returning to Hamburg via London in 1851. She made a further three voyages from Hamburg to Australia in 1851, 1854 and 1855. She was finally sold in 1857 in Norway.
