"PRINCE REGENT" 1849


     A three mast ship of 528 tons (117' x 32' x 5') made in 1811 by Frinsbury for Buckle & Co., London
     This ship provided transport for convicts in 1820, 1824, 1827 and 1830.

     Captain William Jago left Plymouth on April 8, 1849 bound for South Australia
     and arrived in Adelaide, South Australia on July 29, 1849 (Lloyd's Shipping list and Log of Logs)
